For those of you who don't read Slashdot, Bruce Perens is testing out the Slashdot Effect on Zope (http://technocrat.net) and Squishdot has its own URL (http://squishdot.org). Seems to be working, although with quite slow response time. Is this Zope 1.10.3 or 2.0? If you read one of the entries on the site, it explains the equipment used to run the site. Pentium 120, 30gb ide disk 128mb ram and a 768k DSL net link. This is not exactly a hi-spec system, which would explain the lags in browse time.
