 Thinking about it i had one more suggestion and one question.  Suggestion: There is a lot of rather ugly dtml in it. Not thanks to you,  but thanks to dtml. Now that Zope 2.3.0 has python scripts, it could look a  little better in a python script.

i think that would be the second coming.   i still need to understand pythonscript, and play with it a little.  also, it would be a little more involved , i think

 Question: How on earth did you discover this kind of magic:  manage_addProduct['ZCatalog'].manage_addZCatalog('tbCatalog','','create_def ault_catalog_' ,REQUEST)  Are you following the Zope interface, or did you studie some library or  documentation i don't have. The manage_addProduct i could have invented  myself, but the rest?
