No, this is incorrect. It's often been said that if you want files greater than 2Gb, use Linux on an Alpha. In addition, the patches to fix this limitation are in the current 2.3 development tree, so it's likely that the next release of most Linux distributions won't have the limitation any longer. I have run Zope on an Alpha just fine. Same thing with HP-UX incase anyone was wondering.. :-)
