Just from browsing www.curl.com it seems to me that Curl is a corporation that builds an ide named Surge lab. There is not a lot of information on their website, i really don't know what Curl is, in a technical sense. A little guessing; May be there is a language behind this, may be the name of the language is Curl and Curl could have possibilities in the scientific area, data visualisation. Just something like Python.. On the other hand everything seems to be build in Java, so probably there is no Curl language. It is not clear from this website what Curl is. As far as i know, there has been done a reasonable amount of work in Python in the scientific area and on visualisation. see http://www.scipy.org/ Not everything is ment for Zope though.
