I am a newbie. I have just installed Zope 2.4.1 under SuSE Linux 7.3 and have the system up and running. I was able to connect with the initial user id and password, create a new user in the root folder and connect as the new user in the manage mode. The strange problem that I am facing is that in some browsers I have the tabbed display in the workspace with the tabs "Contents", "View", .., "Ownership" but in other browsers I do not have any tabs and only the view of the index_html web page. I have tried this locally on the Linux system with two different browsers, Konquerer (work right) and Mozilla (does not work right), and across the net using MS Internet Explorer 5.0 (does not work right) and Mozilla (does not work right) under Win2000, and again across the net using MS Internet Explorer 5.0 (works right) and Mozilla (does not work right) under Win98. Works right means that I have a tabbed workspace so that I can manage the site. Does not work right means that I have no tabs visible and hence can't do anything by way of managing the site. Has anyone seen this effect before? Does anyone know what browser settings are needed for getting the tabbed workspace? Prof. Dr. Ashok N.
