Who's giving you "Permission denied"? Zope or apache?

Apache, as far as I can see. No indication of why, in any of the logs, though :-(

I found the problem. There *was* a message (only a warning...) in the error log, but I didn't understand it, and missed the fact that it was important :-( Basically, I had mod_proxy loaded (to handle the [P] flag on the rewrite rule), but no mod_proxy_http. Everything is now working as I expect (still some issues to get to the bottom of, but I think I can handle these on my own). Thanks for the help, Paul
