Everyone's doing it, why not you? I'm referring of course to displaying Slashdot headlines in a sidebar on your site. To help you fit in, I've slightly updated Andrew Kuchling's Slashdot headline display code to work easily with Zope. http://www.zope.org/Download/Contrib/slashdot.py It's an External Method that checks slashdot for updated headlines and stores them as attributes of a Folder. Then you can use DTML to display them any way you want. If you're looking for a simple (and useful ;-) External Method example, look no further. Have fun. -Amos P.S.
