Are you saying that you shouldn't use Java / JavaScript with Zope at all? For give my ignorance; but why? The management screens might use a little JavaScript but I don't *think* this would cause any conflicts/probs.

I would assume it's more likely that they want to keep javascript and java out of the final implementation. Widen their possible audience, and all that...
