I just read the mail at url: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/zope/message/79225 <dtml-var "_.getitem('object',1)"> And was wondering what the ,1 in that statement meant? Apparently it makes the object print out correctly, when without the ,1 comes encoded. -huima

New subject: [Zope] _.getitem(object,1)
Quote from http://www.zope.org/Members/michel/ZB/AdvDTML.dtml :
The getitem method takes an optional second argument which specifies whether or not
to render the variable. Recall that rendering a DTML variable means turning it into a
string. By default the getitem function does not render a variable.
