RE: FW: [Zope] using webdav +windows explorer+ zope
Eron, I am using Zope 2.4.2 on Win2K and I have been pointing to the "WebDav source port" so this seems to be one of the issues. I can now access a zope server using a url from another machine but using http://localhost from my local machine will not work ( I use port 80) -----Original Message----- From: Eron Lloyd [mailto:lloyd@lancaster.lib.pa.us] Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 1:44 PM To: Clark OBrien Cc: zope@zope.org Subject: Re: FW: [Zope] using webdav +windows explorer+ zope What version of Zope are you running, and what version of Windows do you have? There is a known problem with WebDAV & Win2K. Upgrade to the latest version of Zope, and when you add a network place, use the same URL you would use in a browser. Make sure you aren't pointing to the WebDAV source port, either. HTH, Eron On Tuesday 27 November 2001 03:55, you wrote:

Hi: What are the steps to make zope webdav enabled. I started zope with the -W 7777 option which gave me another instance of the ZServer output below:
In the add network place wizard I enter http://localhost:7777 but get the message
"the folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose
another"
