Hi all, Am I the only one amazed by how amazingly awful zope.org is when it comes to documentation? I'd like a version of the Zope book that is not peppered willy-nilly with comments saying 'test'. Does anyone know if a clean copy can be downloaded? Best regards, Patrick Kirk Mobile: 07876 560 646
Chris made a clean pdf a while back. You can pick it by anonmyous ftp from sumeru.stanford.edu. It's up at several other sites as well--check the ML archives. I'd like to see a paper copy since it's more convenient that reading on-line. BTW, you can turn off the backtalk comments. On Sat, 28 Feb 2004, Patrick Kirk wrote:

It's also up on Zope.org at http://zope.org/Documentation/Books/ZopeBook/2_6Edition/ZopeBook-2_6.pdf On Fri, 2004-02-27 at 19:48, Dennis Allison wrote:

Thanks all. Turning off comments doesn't persist when you move from page to page so I had assumed it was broken. Best regards, Patrick Kirk Mobile: 07876 560 646 Chris McDonough wrote:

(The lack of good) Documentation is the most disturbing feature of Zope. It is hardly possible to find anything that is finished and up-to-date. This really needs attention in order to make Zope more usable, as great as it is once you get the hook ;-) The only way for me to get answers was always to ask on this list and get fast and good answers from helpful experts. Of course that is not the most efficient way... regards Andre Patrick Kirk wrote:
