Tim - get dtml-mode.el from http://www.spyderlab.com/zope.html , then (autoload 'dtml-mode "dtml-mode") (put-alist 'dtml-mode "\\.dtml\\'" auto-mode-alist) If I'm use the new <dtml> tags, I find html-mode works better.
