RE: [Zope] RE: [Zope-dev] Squid Proxy VS LVS+Apache+ZEO
The caveats, of course, are first, I haven't done this yet, but I know it is possible; secondly, Squid 2.5 is still in prerelease. I was going to try and to set this up to play around with SSL accel, but haven't had the chance yet. I'm going to be working on a tutorial/howto, and one of my goals is to get SSL working. I'm working on doing this with Squid 2.5PRE3, and if I can get this working later this week, I'll post something on Zope.org, and announce it on the list... Also, if you need SSL, use Squid 2.5 with OpenSSL to accelerate all your backend non-SSL servers, including ZServer, Apache, etc...
I would be _very_ interested in a little howto about this -- I could add it to my squid+zope+siteaccess2 howto as well... _______________________________________________ Zope maillist - Zope@zope.org http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope ** No cross posts or HTML encoding! ** (Related lists - http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-announce http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-dev )
