There's a thread on this earlier in the list, xmlrpclib changed in 2.6. There's now a compatible version in CVS and on Zope.org, enjoy. I was get similar error, so you could check Override User with managers Username and Password.

Thats working for me, W95 <=> W2k both with Zope 2.5.1 and latest (possibly) Zsyncer.
