This query is an invitation for <flame>...</flame> comments. IMHO Windows is not a reasonable development environment even with Cygwin. If you must use Windows, get Cygwin. Linux is a more developer-friendly environment even if you are just starting out.
This query is an invitation for <flame>...</flame> comments. Yes, that's what I thought. However, I would like to congratulate the community for (with the exception of one or two people) for responding this mature. There are not a lot of places nowadays where one could pose a question like this.
