Hello, I'm a Zope-newbie (inspired by Linux-Magazine article) and tried to install Zope with my apache-server. If I try to run lynx http://localhost:8998/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/manage I get a "Can't access startfile http://localhost:8998/" If I try lynx http://localhost/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/manage I get: The resource you requested is temporarily unavailable - please try again later. (102) failure during connect PS. Hope this question is not too stupid: Is it necessary, that port 8998 is in /etc/services? Because there is no entry with this number? If this is a FAQ please give me a hint where to find the solution. Thank you very much, waiting <unpatiently> to use Zope Stefan Thull

Standard Zope port is 9673 - might that be it? tone ------ Dr Tony McDonald, FMCC, Networked Learning Environments Project The Medical School, Newcastle University Tel: +44 191 222 5888 Fingerprint: 3450 876D FA41 B926 D3DD F8C3 F2D0 C3B9 8B38 18A2
