As usual, I figured that out just after posting. There's one other thing to remember, when you change the name of the connection you *must* touch (that is, re-edit) all of the SQL methods that reference it, otherwise they don't bind properly to the connection.

There was a very recent posting indicating one could use ZopeFind to do this. There is an article called Mass Edit the Text of SQL Methods (http://www.zopelabs.com/cookbook/1003271138) which shows some hints how to do that with an external method MfG MFvM
