comparision between zope and other technologies
We were planning on starting a web based project, and I was entrusted the task of performing an evaluation/comparision of the various options available , open source as well as commercial . The option we were considering were PERL , PHP , Cold Fusion , Servlets , Zope . Can anyboody pls point me towards an article / report where I can find a comparision in terms of varouos parameters like 1) Portability 2) Scalability 3) Reliability 4) Clustering 5) Security 6) Database Connectivity 7) ... thanks in advance Nitin

Sure... when I was doing the same thing I came up with this list.. http://www.zope.org/Members/BwanaZulia/zope.html After reading all of that post questions here and I am sure you will get answers. The bottom line, though, once you get to really understand all the sides of Zope and what it can do is that there really is nothing like it.
