Hi, I installed zope 2.7.0 on a couple of Debian linux systems (Python 2.3), and neither of the systems will export more than roughly 22kb. The objects I'm trying to export contain about 15MB including subfolders/files/images/etc. first, has anyone else run into this abbreviated export situation, and second, if so, have you found a workaround? any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks, -- Dan Cherry dscherry@bellsouth.net
further clarification - the 'Save to file on server' option _is_ working. Only the 'Download to local machine' appears broken. This option only exports XML, regardless of whether the 'XML format?' checkbox is checked or not. So, in fact, I have a work-around. Dan On Monday 10 May 2004 09:49 pm, Dan Cherry wrote:

Seems you have a funny Zope 2.7.0 version... I can export zexp files (both to server and client) and I do not have this limitation.

I installed still another zope 2.7.0 on a debian system that _never_ had a previous version of zope, and it will write the full exports to the local machine. It appears that I have a case of "remnant" code or configuration data from an older zope 2.6.3 installation on the ailing debian boxes. Or at least that's my next area to investigate If I find anything significant, I'll post again, otherwise, as I said, I have a workaround for the time being, and thanks.
