Has someone experience with making Python 2.1 on SOlaris 2.6 with gcc 2.8.1? Here it seems that it tries to create shared libraries which won't link, because its missing some standard references (liba, ...) like free, malloc etc. Has someone fixed this - before I invest hours to do so?
