Hi; A person named Coventry created a product to replace the <dtml tag with <: and I like that idea. However, I read in an archived post that it wasn't compatible with XML. Well, nothing like that can ever be well-formed XML, so his scheme would have to be changed drastically to work with XML. You could use processing instructions, but that wouldn't be shorter than what we have now, I don't think. Cheers, Tom P

PageTemplates are compatible with XML.
