who is using webdav to build zope site?
Hello I am just curious: I try to use webdav to edit my web-sites (it was looking more promising than the external editor). Up to now I have tried the Jedit Dav plugin and skunkdav. Skundav seams much more useful. Question: what is the best (free) webdav client/editor that you have used? Thanks Gilles

Have you tried ExternalEditor? It's simple to use and you can modify zope objects choosing your preferred editor. http://www.zope.org/Members/Caseman/ExternalEditor bye, Mio
my choice: cadaver with vim as the editor. that is command-line, but works beautifully. jens On Tuesday, Mar 25, 2003, at 11:49 US/Eastern, Gilles wrote:

I use BBEdit on Mac OS X. Works beautifully with WebDAV and my Zope installation running on a Linux server. ___/ / __/ / ____/ Ed Leafe http://leafe.com/ http://opentech.leafe.com

I also use WebDrive (for Windows). I found it slightly more stable than TeamDrive. http://www.southrivertech.com/ http://www.teamstream.com/ Best Regards, Johan Carlsson PS. Remember to use the WebDAV source port when you work through WebDAV. Also notice that all product developers hasn't written WebDAV APIs for there product which will result in failures when trying to access those object.
