hi, i'm currently reading through the "A Technical Introduction to Object Publishing with Zope". included in this interesting read is an example ads.py. when i execute ads.py via the shell i get no complaints however when i try to add ads.py as an external method in zope with the following paramaters Id: adflipper Title: Function name: Python module file: ads and click on the add button i get this error message: "The specified object, was not found in module, ads." ok, so i tried calling some of the functions inside ads.py by entering them in Function name: but i basically got the same complaint. this is the first time i fooled with external methods so i'm probably making some very basic mistake but unfortunately i can't seem to figure out what it is. i put ads.py into the extensions folder. thank you to all who have provided answers to my questions in the past! regards, mark --------------------------------------------------------------------------- webman | _ beehive GmbH | ASCII ribbon campaign ( ) berlin, Germany | - against HTML email X http://www.beehive.de | & vcards / \
