To all that answered, off and on-line, Many thanks! I was hoping to find something that I could play with before I read the ZOPE book. I just wanted to see all the pieces first. OK, THE book it is. I would like to try the tutorial that comes with ZOPE. Does anyone know of a small web server for the Windows 2000 platform that works well with ZOPE. I have Apache in the office on Linux, but I would like something for the desktop. thanks, Michael

Zope provides a web server, so you can run Zope out of the box (well, .zip file). Is this insufficient/unsuitable? If it is, then use Apache in front of it, but you shouldn't need to just for non-production sites. Felix.
