Re: [Zope] ParsedXML and Python-Devel
Hi!
please excuse this stupid question but I can't find the answer: where do you get the python devel and how do I install it (Suse 8.0)?
Forget about the Python distribution that comes with SuSE Linux.
I can't because my boss decided we want Suse (and not RedHat which I would prefer). It's not my choice. Horst _________________________________________________________________ Werden Sie Mitglied bei MSN Hotmail, dem größten E-Mail-Service der Welt: http://www.hotmail.com/de

Did you try www.python.org? I assume you will want the full sources and build your own. I believe that Zope on Python 2.2 is considered an extreme sport -- get the 2.1.3 distribution.

Beside the split into many subpackages, the Python in SuSE is also probably much slower (for me, it was about 50 per cent) than one build from source. Dieter
