I'd love to use PIL. I'd like it even more if the PIL community was less antagonistic.

on the other hand, is there any reason PIL won't work under Zope if you install it in a subdirectory named "PIL" along the standard path, and instead of adding a PIL.pth, adds an empy __init__.py to that directory? /F
