Starting Zope (NT Service) with chosen parameters
Yellow, I would like to have the same facility to start Zope in an NT box (as a service) as I have in Linux!!! Is that too much to ask? I think not! So anyone started Zope with '-w 80' or another special parameter in an NT box (AGAIN: Zope is an NT Service)?????? After i get this done (with your VERY needed help) I promise to write a how-to on this... thanks --- Hugo Ramos - hramos@ruido-visual.pt Ruido Visual - Telecomunicacoes Interactivas, Lda
Yellow, Ok.. ok.. ok.. Please don't hurt me!!! Just 5 secs after sending this post i found the problem!! As I was reading this page (http://www.zope.org/Members/teyc/howNTService) there is an error!! Where it is writen 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Zope2.0\Parameters ' one should read 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ZopeDIR\Parameters ' where ZopeDIR = Your instalation directory!!!! Teyc: please correct this ok? I just spent 1 hour trying to solve this problem! thanks --- Hugo Ramos - hramos@ruido-visual.pt Ruido Visual - Telecomunicacoes Interactivas, Lda

I do it with editing z2.py - its easy. Unfortunately arguments passing with the incredible service-property-window do not work... Below the comments you will find the parameters and their defaults. HTH Tino Wildenhain
