Re: [Zope] to zope or not [Documentation]
I looked at the website that is refered to here, (URL:http://www.dieter.handshake.de/pyprojects/zope/book/chap1.html) and I wonder at what point it can become a part of the official Zope documentation, if the author would allow it, actually, because it is wonderful in giving an explanation that is very detailed, yet simple and not insulting to the reader. Would anyone tell me the PROs and CONs of using zope for an Intranet? How does it compare with using apache. Apache for mostly static sites, Zope for mostly dynamic sites ....

While I agree that that would be a wonderful thing, that text was written for Wrox, to be part of a Zope book that they will publish. Cheers, Michael Bernstein.

My current intention: * I try to publish the electronic version myself, or, more precisely, let the Internet publish it * when there is sufficient demand for a professional traditional (printed) book, I will see whether I can find a publisher Dieter
The last I heard, Wrox had cancelled their planned Zope book until Zope gets a bit more stable. Given the lightening speed by which it is continually improving and growing more powerful, it's hard to say what that might mean. Zope 4.0 maybe? ; ) ciao! greg.
