How to get off version trouble?
Dear friends, It's probably an dummy question or a bug in Zope 2.4.2 on GNU/Linux Debian (deb from Testing ). I create a new version, then work on it. I try to delete the version i'm working on. Then I begin work on a version named "No longer active". After that I try to undo what I have done, but still with no luck. Any idea? Sincerely yours, Terry

Dear friends, Sorry for my poor english. I mean. 1. I add a new "Version" named "v1" from add list in "Zope Web management interface". 2. Them I click on the new "Version" "v1" to work on new version of my website. 3. Zope said "I'm working on version v1". Yap, that's right. 3. I delete the "Version" v1 from "Zope Web management interface". 4. Zope said I'm working on a "Version" named "(/No longer active/ ) ", but why ???. Then I could escape from the Version named "(No longer active)". Hope some body understand what I'm talking about. Thank a lot Terry Dieter Maurer wrote:

You need to save your work and "Quit" working on the version before you delete. Try undoing the deletion of the version. It should get you back to the point where you can "Save" and "Quit". -Tim -- Tim Wilson | Visit Sibley online: | Check out: Henry Sibley HS | http://www.isd197.org | http://www.zope.com W. Then I could escape from the Version named "(No longer active)". I know, you worked around your problem.
If it should occur again, go to "Control_Panel" --> "Version Managment". There, you can get rid of versions you lost control of. Dieter
