RE: [Zope] Newbie question: can the ZODB be moved? On a different Server or HDD?
Shane, Yes, you have to use Z Enterprise Objects (ZEO). Zope 2.7 comes with it. Basically it seperates the ZODB from the application server. This most often used for clustering and such, but you can use it for any purpose. You then have a Zeo server (Where the ZODB is) and one or more Zope servers (Which act as Zeo clients). You can google for Zeo or read zope.conf for some bits of information. Don't know what SNAP is though :( J.F. -----Original Message----- From: zope-bounces@zope.org [mailto:zope-bounces@zope.org]On Behalf Of Shane McCombs Sent: June 1, 2004 12:37 PM To: zope@zope.org Subject: [Zope] Newbie question: can the ZODB be moved?
