People forced to use an HTTP proxy may find a slightly patched version of the External Editor helper app useful that supports proxies: http://ps.ri.uni-tuebingen.de/Members/goetzs/zopeedit.py/file_view The proxy name and port can be configured via an environment variable or configuration file option of the form "http_proxy = proxy.mydomain.com:3128" Cheers, Stefan
