RE: [Zope] Upgrading to Zope 2.7
I was getting the same message when trying to use LocalFS on Zope 2.7 w/ Python 2.3.3. I'd install a LocalFS object and then when I'd try and view it, I'd get the same error message as Florian below. I've posted 1-2 other queries about errors I was having, but I've been assuming LocalFS to be the culprit. -----Original Message----- From: Florian Reiser [mailto:florian.reiser@ra-bc.de] Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 15:04 To: 'Dieter Maurer' Cc: zope@zope.org Subject: RE: [Zope] Upgrading to Zope 2.7 Hello Dieter, I have downloaded Zope 2.7 on 2004/03/12. if I copy the Data.fs to Zope 2.7, then I get the following error message when entering /manage on the side of the folder contents:
######### Begin Error message ############## Site Error An error was encountered while publishing this resource.

Are you using Zope 2.7.0 final? I remember that earlier betas had this problem... -- Dieter _______________________________________________ Zope maillist - Zope@zope.org http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope ** No cross posts or HTML encoding! ** (Related lists - http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-announce http://mail.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-dev )
Hello Samir, I've now tried to migrate the Data.fs without LocalFS. This solved my problem. Now everything works fine. I've thought: Maybe an update of LocalFS solves the problem. So I have downloaded the LocalFS Product with Patches. But this didn't solve the problems. If I add the updated LocalFS, then I still get the error: Sequence-odd not found. Do you know where to get a working version of LocalFS?
