Yeah, I had the same problem and 'packaging' PIL looks like the best solution. You might need to import any image converters you need in the __init__.py file. For instance I had to import GifImagePlugin in my __init__.py in order to create GIFs in Zope. Cheers, A.

There seems to be a name-clashing between zope and PIL library, namely the module 'ImageFile'. Did someone encoutner this problem, and how is the suggested way of solving it?
