Is the database connected as a System DSN? You can check under "Data Sources (ODBC)" in the Control Panel. You will need to add one if it is not there. Choose the "Add..." Button. Select SQL server. Next you will need to enter the Name you want to give the source, a description, and a server name. Let me know what else you need to know. Yes you can. You will need ZODBC to connect to the SQLServer. Make sure that SQL server is available as a "System DSN" on it's host. You will also need a username and password to connect. Zope will ask you for this in the DSN string. Best of luck to you.
