Stability + Massive Traffic
Hi all, I'm wondering about the traffic limits of a one server-based ZOPE + MYSQL-System: Does anybody of you guys have experience with the behaviour + stability of such a system with about 200.000 pageviews or about 20.000 visitors per day? Does anybody know a method of "stress-testing" such a system, perhaps via a open source or shareware traffictesting software? Any answers highly appreciated - thank you! There are some freeware apps around that will run command macros over a program like IE. You save the mouse clicks and fieldname entries and then run the script and it can run indefinatley on a page... To simulate high user loads, you need more machines and multiple instances. I dont remember the name of the software but you can probably search it under macro and window. If you want to spend money on something that works very well, Compuware's QALoad and QARun packages are just about the best... Stress testing to the max! Cheers, Paz Alexander DePauli wrote:
