My friend went to LinuxWorld and all he brought back was a lousy Zope frisbee. He says you guys were handing out loads of Zope merchandise, so what do I have to do get a hold of it? (Ive only got one Zope t-shirt and its starting to look a little threadbare). -- Andy McKay.
Ahh.. you missed out. Not only did I have a great conversation with Paul E. but picked up a T-shirt, a pen, the cool frisbee and munched on some very nice Zope cookies (with a big blue Z). Thanks DC! Sorry Andy. J At 6:35 PM -0800 2/5/01, Andy McKay wrote:

Hi, A full merchant site made in Zope, selling thoose Zope stuff at low price would be a great idea for Zope's promotion ? Isn't it ? May be could one delegate the logistic/organisation/delivery dirty part to people like copyleft.net ? With a "how this site is made" part, explaining how to build such a site, step by step... Just an idea ! Olivier ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Chandler" <johnc@nipltd.com> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2001 11:23 AM Subject: Re: [Zope] Zope and DC Stuff

Gladly. Or. Someone could set up a Zope store to test ZCommerce modules etc etc, sell Zope items, and the profits either go towards maintaining the site or to a charity or revolving set of charities. DigiCool or their hosting provider would be the best bets for it. We get to buy cool shirts. DigiCool can point to a working, current, implementation of Zope in an ecommerce setting. Charities get a bit of help. Luke
