Zope Win32 service (was RE: [Zope] Binary Compatibility)
Lukas, It doesn't appear to be the case if you're running Zope under Windows. Uninstalling Zope-2.5.1 doesn't remove the Zope service, and when you install 2.6.0 the Zope service pointing to $INSTANCE_HOME/bin/lib/win32/pythonservice.exe no longer functions. Is there a workaround for this? (ie, a way to uninstall and reinstall the service). I've seen this happen on 3 zope machines, so it's reproducible. Hi Adam, I know I had to hack the registry to have the service reference "C:\zope1\bin\lib\win32\pythonservice.exe" "C:\zope1\z2.py" -S (for 2.6.0) instead of c:\zope1\bin\python.exe .... (for zope 2.5.1). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adam Getchell" <AdamG@hrrm.ucdavis.edu> To: "'Lukas Zapletal'" <lzap@root.cz>; <zope@zope.org> Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 9:37 AM Subject: Zope Win32 service (was RE: [Zope] Binary Compatibility)

I need https on my zope running on win2000. I've apache 1.3.27 and zope 2.5.1. I've searched on documentation but i've not found anything about install mod_ssl in windows. So, what can i do? The only solution is Zssl? Max
