Are you sure the Python was built on FreeBSD? As I know, FreeBSD is able to execute Linux binaries. Dieter

You said this was a binary release of Zope? If so, afaik it comes prebuilt and with its own copy of Python. Which would easily explain all of this. Have a better one, Curtis Maloney

No. This is a source release, built by me on my FreeBSD machine, using the Python 2.0 built by me on the same machine. Anyway, found it - the info is in lib/python/version.txt which becomes ZOPE_VERSION within Zope. -- Ng Pheng Siong <ngps@post1.com> * http://www.post1.com/home/ngps
