Is anybody using StructuredText tables ?????
I am trying hard to use StructeredText tables. However the only table featuring more than one line that is rendered correctly seems to be the one in the ST test suite. So if anybody could point me to an explanation of how to use tables (I did read the StructuredTextNG rules) or provide me with some more examples I would be very grateful. Robert
Give me an example that does not work :-) Andreas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Rottermann" <robert@redcor.ch> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 01:12 Subject: [Zope] Is anybody using StructuredText tables ?????

You are using the pipe sign inside "|---------|----------|" ^^^ That's bad ! There is no need to use the column devider sign inside a row devider. Blind as I am, I fail to see what does controll the colspan a table is using. |-----------------------------------------------------------| |1959|Als Tierarzt haben wir eine besonders verantwortungsvolle usw| |-----------------------------------------------------------| |1965|Da war auch was | |-----------------------------------------------------------| makes the field containing 1965 using two cols, whereas |-----------------------------------------------------------| |1959|Als Tierarzt haben wir eine besonders verantwortungsvo| |-----------------------------------------------------------| |1965|Da war auch was | |-----------------------------------------------------------| uses only one. Note only the length of the second filed of the first row has changed. Robert

Thank you very much, unfortunately the result is very different to what I would like to get. My goal is a to create a table with two columns. In the left column just little text (like a number) in the second one much more. Some 20 lines actually Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andreas Jung" <andreas@zope.com> To: "Robert Rottermann" <robert@redcor.ch>; <zope@zope.org> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2001 2:24 PM Subject: Re: [Zope] StructuredText tables: how do I controll colspan
