...I unpacked the tarball in the Zope dir, and restarted Zope, and sure enough the Confera product shows up. I was even able to add it to a folder, and successfully posted a test message. If this helps: I am running Zope-2.1.2 (compiled from src) on RH linux 6.1, and all of the above was done as "superuser". The only non-out-of-the-box thing I've done is to run the ZServer on port 80.
