I downloaded and played the Zope Demos from www.zope.com. The text is a little too fast spoken for non-americans. I had to smile a little, because I thought that only cowboys are speaking this way. Wasn't it possible to take the chewing gum out, before recording? These are nice demos. Could I ask how you did them? Is there an easy way using some kind of flash plugin, or was it done completely by hand? seb
stephan, are you sure you've heard a _real_ cowboy accent: this guy sounds quite preppy to me ;^) its true that he does speak quite quickly though... g On 18 Dec 2001, at 14:45, seb bacon wrote: Subject: Re: [Zope] Zope Cowboy Demos From: seb bacon <seb@jamkit.com> To: stephan.goeldi@datacomm.ch Copies to: zope@zope.org Date sent: 18 Dec 2001 14:45:18 +0000

Yeah, but they pale in comparison to this ASCII movie technology: telnet://towel.blinkenlights.nl /---------------------------------------------------\ Casey Duncan, Sr. Web Developer National Legal Aid and Defender Association c.duncan@nlada.org \---------------------------------------------------/
Nice, but the Quicktime versions don't play on Mac QT5... (only audio, no video - they must have selected a windoze-only codec)

The demos are Flash showing, essentially, screenshots with some Flash animation techniques. Voiceover and annotation are standard Flash stuff. --Paul seb bacon wrote:
