Re: [Zope] being slashdotted
Hmm, what is wrong? I have a 600 MHz Alpha and yet across the Ethernet I can detect slower initial response time for nabbing stuff from inside my Zope site, and can see a momentary CPU spike of the kind that I never see when running solely apache. This is with Zope underneath Apache. bruce@perens.com (Bruce Perens) writes:
My site is pointed to by several front-page URLs on slashdot today. CPU load is never going above 20% and right now it's about 1%. The wire is a 768K bit per second SDSL. The system is a pentium III 450 with 128MB RAM.
Don't let anyone tell you that Python is too slow.
