RE: [Zope] File Uploads and SSL
Erch? I've had no such problem. I've used both PCGI and ProxyPass/VHM. I suspect the browser. The only difficultie I had with PCGI was uploading a 1.2M file over https on a dialup connection (It was slow and IE almost timed out -- DSL in 2 weeks :). Eventually I'll be storing the files on the file system using LocalFS, but I haven't made that change yet. Hope that helps. Eric.
-----Original Message----- HI all,
I'm having a very strange problem, and I hope at someone else has had this happen to them ;)
When using SSL and Zope (versions ranging from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3), I have a form that allows upload of a document. The problem is that files over 11-12k in size never finish.
If I take SSL out of the equation then files of arbitrary size upload and finish with no problem.
I've tried this with M2Crypto and Apache mod_ssl and both suffer from the same problem.
I have no real idea what's going on here, anyone else have any ideas?

Phil

Troy/Eric, Thanks for answering, but as usual the solution was simple. I'm using WinNT and the version of the ssl libs I was using were getting on a bit. I replaced them with a newer version and all is well. Thanks again.
