Alright. What is happening is that this is failing non gracefully when it can't retrieve the base entry. This will be handled better in the next beta and/or final release of current snapshot which may happen this week. There is now a Wiki in the ZopeLDAP Product that will start to collect some documentation and how-to's. Hi Jeffrey, I tried to install your product ZLDAP on my Zope 2.1.6 (Debian Linux box). I can open connection to an LDAP server and to get search results when an LDAP method is used. That's no problem. What annoys me is this Zope error message when I try to make LDAP connection object browsable in manage mode (browse tab):
