Hi- I just joined the list and am a relative newbie.... I want to place a MSWord file into a table cell. But I *do not* want a link-- I want the file itself to open automatically and look like the original word document (I don't want/need to edit the file). I got it to work several ways, but the file has a multitude of symbols, extraneous text, lines, etc, mixed in with the text. This seems like it ought to be easy, it works fine if I place an <a href=...> link in the table cell. Any help greatly appreciated, much thanks in advance! Kevin

Macromedia FlashPaper allows you to print _any_ kind of document to virtual printer and get the swf (Flash) file with your document inside (with zoom in/out, scrollbars etc.). Then you can use CMFFlashMovie or similiar to place that swf into Plone. However, FlashPaper is a commercial product.

An "iframe" might be able to do this. -- Dieter
