In adition to extract metadata from the image, the product extension makes Photo to store all image instances in the jpg format, thus making them viewable by all browsers. The original file keeps its own format. I am using IE Browser. When i ask IE to open a BMP image it opens it in Paint.Other images such as jpeg gif it opens properly. That means problem is with IE and i should use the product given below right?

Hi all, I am using Photo Product and Imagemagic engine. In ZMI when i am adding an object of type photo and a bmp image i am having a problem. The image is uploaded perfectly which i can see by clicking in the view tab. But in edit page of it no image is shown.Besides this no displays of different sizes are created for it through the imagemagic. I seen the documentation of imagemagic, there it is clearly written that BMP format is supported.

Any explantion and solution is most welcome. Thanx in advance,
