ODBC client for Zope on Linux/Unix
This could prove helpful. By using the ZopeDA for Sybase there may be a slim chance we can connect directly to MS SQL Server from Linux / Unix, at least some versions . . . This works with MS-SQL Server 6.5, but we haven't made it work with 7.0. I think Anthony Baxter tried too, but I honestly forget if he succeeded. Jerry Spicklemire wrote:

Can it be made to use FreeTDS instead of sybases' libs ? At http://www.freetds.org/ they claim ability to connect to MS SQL including v7.0 ------- Hannu
