I have installed zope on my computer(os:windows 2k).when I open http://localhost:8080/manage with IE,I can see the zope management interface.But I can't find how to add a object to my site. I have created a webmaster as manager, and login with this username, but no help. who can tell me how to do? If so, what happens, when you try to add objects? Do you get "Emergency user cannot own..."? Then, you are still logged in as Emercency user. Dieter
Hi! I was searching the zope.org trying to find what is wrong with my zope if anything. I had no luck! I am using Zope Version (Zope 2.4.3 (source release, python 2.1, linux2), python 2.1.1, linux2) Python Version 2.1.1 (#1, Aug 13 2001, 19:37:40) [GCC 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-96)] System Platform linux2 and I get this message when i restart or shutdown zope in Control Panel: Temporarily Unavailable The resource you requested is temporarily unavailable - please try again later. C-Runtime errno: Success PCGI Error: (116) unable to connect, path=/var/run/pcgi.soc, fd=5 Explanation: That is not a big problem. I can restart zope from a console. The problem is that i get the same message when I'm trying to insert simple data into firebird database. I had no problems with browsing tables! Please can anyone help me? Thanks Ivan
