Obviously the image is not getting rendered. As a first measure try to wipe out the html tags and see what happens. You should get at least see a consistent "<img ...>" string. Take into account that dtml-try, in your case, is not calling any image. It only displays the strings -in this case the 'img' tag- that will do the call once the page is rendered.
