This effort started before the ZF and as far as I recall, was mostly
pushed by Stephan Richter. He did ask several people for feedback
(including myself and Rob Page as far as I can recall), but the
foundation has, at present, nothing to do with it.

Then take from it what you can and ignore it otherwise. It's important
not to lose momentum and I think getting something done is way more
important.
